A note from the Planet Janitor:

Planet JanitorHello. Maybe you’ve already heard of me. I’m the Planet Janitor. I work at the Florida solar Energy Center as a spokesperson for energy and environmental concerns.

I symbolize the need to sweep up all the environmental messes we’ve made. It’s my job to remind everyone to take care of Planet Earth. It is our home, after all.

I hope you’ll join me. Enjoy the coloring book! You’ll have fun and we’ll all get to be friends working together.

As I always say: Our world is in our hands.

What if no one cleaned up all the trash?
Recycling gets rid of lots of trash. Recycling saves energy, too.
 Too much driving really dirties the air. What if no one cleaned up the air?
The sun has lots of energy to give us.
You know the sun can heat water.
Did you know the sun can make electricity, too?
Guess what! When we use the sun's energy we don't dirty the air.
Trees save energy while they keep us cool.
 Trees work like sponges . . . they keep air clean.
Planting trees is a great way to take care of our home.
