Hypothesis:
I think that the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) does make a difference in how much protection the lotion provides. (Professor Sunny’s note: Kristyn used different SPF levels of the same brand of sun screen to minimize any difference between brands. Also, all of the samples were new, as sun screen can degrade with age)

Results:
The results of my experiment are that the higher the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) rating on sun block lotion, the greater the protection it provides.

Conclusion:
By doing this experiment, I learned that my hypothesis was correct. You should use sun blocks with higher SPF ratings. I also learned about sun blocks and what they do to protect my skin from the harmful rays of the sun.
