Will a different color affect the working of solar cells?

Hypothesis:
My hypothesis is that yellow light will make the solar cells work better. I think that because yellow is brighter. (Professor Sunny’s note: Rachel used red, green, yellow and purple filters with the photovoltaic cells)

Conclusion:
My conclusion is that yellow worked best out of four choices. But purple doesn’t work so great.
