Hypothesis: I think that a recycled materials oven will work just as well as a company made one.
Conclusion: My hypothesis is not supported by my data, but my recycled material made oven does work. The company made oven’s highest temperature was 270o F. The recycled material made oven’s highest temperature was 240oF. The problems I had were that the air leaked out from around the picture frame that I used for a glass door for the recycled oven and the wind knocked the recycle oven over once. The last trial was the last one we could do because the meat trays were warped from the heat. I learned that you can make a solar oven out of recycled things and if I needed hot water I could use a solar oven because water boils at 212oF. If I would do this project again, I would change the material I used to cover the inside of the recycled material oven, what type of day I did my experiment on, and what time of day I did my experiment.
