Problem: The purpose of this experiment is to identify efficiency levels of the fermentation of corn starch using the sulfuric acid hydrolysis method of pretreatment of the starch. Furthermore the experiment also identifies the feasibility of a dehydrating agent used in the distillation process.

Hypothesis: 1) It is hypothesized that the higher the concentration of sulphuric acid, a higher concentration of ethyl alcohol will result.
2) It is also hypothesized that if the dehydrating agent is used during distillation, the resulting ethyl alcohol concentration will be greater.

Conclusion:
