Caring for a spotted leopard gecko!
Food: Ants, Beetles, Termites, Moths, Crickets, spiders, and Worms (Most eat live food).
Some people call them geckos and other people call them leopard geckos, but what we need to know is that there not very social and don’t like other animals.
The females usually grow to be about 18 – 20 cm, while the males grow to 20 – 28cm long. In captivity there lifespan is usually 10 to 20 years, in the wild they live to about 6 to 8 years.
The pros of having a gecko like this are: Leopard geckos make an excellent pet because; these colorful creatures are small, they are very quiet animals, they don’t smell and don’t need a lot of attention.
Spotted Leopard Geckos need a thermometer, baking lamp, uv lamp, a hot mat ,and an infra red heat lamp.

Our Gecko Tank uses green building by using recycled plexiglass from our school, this was left over form Covid-19. We also used recycled pallets for wood, and broken down screen from Hurricane Ian.
Community Partners: The Home Depot
Today we took a trip to The Home Depot on Malabar. During this trip they taught us about the different departments, how they work as a team, and tool safety. At the end of our visit we built our own pinball machine.
