Meerkats Diet

Meerkats do not drink water, but they do need water. So they eat bugs for water instead. More thing they like is birds, snakes, lizards and scorpions. A snakes venom does not effect meerkats. Meerkats have a strong immune system.

Housing of Meerkats

Meerkats have a good housing concept; they live underground in desserts and grasslands. They have 15 exit holes the holes are 6.5 feet deep.

Recycled Material

Our team used recycled wood for the base and walls. We got Plexiglass from are school left over from covid-19. We got the plexiglass so you can see inside more easily.

We took a trip to our community partners at the Home Depot. While we were there they gave us a tour, talked about tool safety and helped us build our own pinball machine.
