What was used:

  • We used an old tv to make our fresnel lens or the optical part of the solar cooker
  • We also used store-bought wood
  • 12 Store-bought wood screws
  • 2 wingnut
  • 2 Nylon washers
  • 1 Mirror
  • ! stand

We chose this design because of how much heat it can produce and how quickly it can do so. All of our materials were either store-bought or used from recycled material. Are cooker is designed to cook fast and efficiently with tons of heat being produced, and this cooker is very easy for choosing the right heat distribution you want.

  • 1648 Celsius at 2:30 pm with little to no clouds
