Nature’s Power Art Girls
Event Location: Orange County STEM Saturday
Competition: Energy Inspired Art
Division: 3-5
School: Orange Center Elementary
Team Name: Nature's Power Art Girls
Project Name: Nature's Power
Team Size: 5
Our project was inspired by the natural world around us and our interpretation of it. The final project pieces will visually connect our elements. Sunlight reaching the trees, roots sinking into the ground, and skies expanding above to show how everything in nature works together as one life-giving system. Each team members artwork reflects their collaborative understanding of energy, nature, and the world around them, creating a beautiful, unified collection.

Elements Featured in the Project
🌳 Trees – The Breath of Life
Students will illustrate trees as symbols of strength, protection, and oxygen. They might show colorful leaves, powerful roots, or energy lines flowing through the branches to represent how trees give life to all living things.
☀️ The Sun – The Source of Energy
Art featuring the sun will highlight warmth, light, and power. Radiating beams, glowing halos, or abstract bursts of color can represent the sun’s role as our primary energy source that fuels plants, animals, and humans.
☁️ Blue Skies – A Canvas of Possibility
The sky will be portrayed as a space of hope, clarity, and possibility. Students may paint soft gradients of blue, swirling clouds, or uplifting patterns to show how the sky connects the world and provides air for us to breathe.
🌍 The Ground – Earth’s Foundation
Representing stability and nourishment, the earth will be shown as the foundation that supports all life. Students might incorporate textures of soil, patterns of roots, or earthy tones to symbolize growth, grounding, and connection.
