Our team name is the Cheesy Champions made up of Jaden M, Liam G, Orion SB, and Gunnar C. We are from Viera Elementary School and are in 6th grade.

Idea and Fun Fact
The idea for this project came from one of our teammates, Orion, who placed 3rd in two categories for his design and food last year. When coming up with an idea for our topic, our original idea was a Mexican theme with the team name being The Sombrero Superstars! Some of the help from people outside from our team includes our teacher Ms. Rudnick to help us get some of the materials we used to build our cooker.

Ingredients
- English Cheddar Cheese
- Velveeta Cheese
- Butter (any kind)
- Pretzel Rods
- 25 oz. of Chocolate Chips
- Sprinkles
- M&M’s
- Bread
- Strawberry
- Milk (2%)
- Ice
Recipe
Grilled Cheese: Chocolate Covered Pretzels
1.Add butter to both sides of the bread 1.Melt Chocolate chips
2.Add Velveeta to both sides of bread 2.Dip the pretzel rods in choclate
3.Add shredded cheese on the bread 3.
4.Use press to press both sides together
5.Serve
Test
3/26/2025:
We started our test at 9:10 when it was 69 degrees Fahrenheit during a sunny day.
The next time we checked was 10:10 when it was 73 degrees Fahrenheit outside during a sunny day the temp in the oven was 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Sadly when we check ants had gotten in the oven and went all over our food we were cooking.
The next time we check the oven when it was 10:55 and it was 77 degrees Fahrenheit outside. The solar cooker got to 105 degrees Fahrenheit

I love the door on the bottom to move your food in and out to hold the heat. A yellow oven is a great design incorporation with your team name.
