BCG-CD Trouble

Team Members: Brody, 4th grade, Claire, 4th grade, and Gianna, 4th grade

Coach Mrs. Howard

Team BCG-CD Trouble met weekly over a period of 3 weeks. They implemented the engineering and design process, researched types of energy transfer, and learned a great deal about teamwork and supporting each other through failures and successes. One of the toughest segments was keeping those CDs from tumbling like dominoes. In the end, with the help of their coach, they persevered until they achieve success.

    These are the most fun projects of all! I love watching these machines work and am always inspired by the students that come up with the design and construction, and get as excited as you did when I see them work! Congratulations!

    This is a fun project and I enjoyed watching the video. You demonstrated understanding of scientific principles and design application. Creative, simple and elegant. Great use of available materials for implementation. Good luck in your future scientific careers and keep up the great work!

      Thank you so much! We hand an enjoyable experience looking up all of the types of energy transfers. We had fun running all the trials and making it work correctly. The CDs lived up to their name, “CD-Trouble!” It was cool! We are CD-Trouble!
