About the Car

We are excited to be a part of the STEM Club at Timber Lakes Elementary. We came up with our team name Electro because of all the electronics we used in our solar sprint car. Something special about our car is that we designed 3D printed wheels using Tinkercad. Also, we used earth friendly components while building our car.

An obstacle we encountered was we had to angle our solar panel to fit our Gatorade lid and ping pong ball. Some modifications to our car included fitting our rubber bands on our 3D printed wheels and making sure our gears didn’t rub together.
