The reason we named our car Rocket speed is because we want our car to go rocket speed.
Organization Name
Our team is representing and supported by the STEM Tech academy in Melbourne Florida. They focus on promoting STEM activities to disadvantaged youth. we do Lego robotics, and drawing, solar projects, reading and other activities.

Today we cut out our top view piece and glued them down

This week we pick out our design and drew the measurement and drew the design on balsa wood and cut the design out

today we worked on our axle and added the gear and completed the back part of our solar car.

Today we add our front wheels to our car and started to connect our wires together

we add our batter holder and string guide to our solar car and add the supports for the solar panels and finished the car

Today we test our cars time, and we got an average of 6.72 sec and weighted the car at 216 grams. :O
