The Blaze

Our flow of energy is, the light from the Sun to the solar energy of the solar panel to the kinetic energy of the motor and wheel.

Our car’s materials are yellow paint, balsa wood car body, 2 cups, 2 allagor clips, 2 large wheels, 2 small wheels, duck tape, masking tape, 2 straws, 2 kebab sticks, a solar panel, a motor, and hot glue. Our car moves with a wheel attachted to the motor.

One problem we faced was that the solar car was tripping on the allagator clips, so we taped the allagator clips to the car. Another problem we faced was that the wheels were falling off, so we taped them to the kebab sticks.

On your mark, get set, go!
May we tell you about ‘Blaze?’

In the first test, the “Blaze” turned and crashed into the pole, breaking off an axel. In the socond test the “Blaze” went quickly downhill and uphill.

We hope you enjoyed our presentation about the “Blaze.”

    • The reason that we added the colors is because the blaze went quick. We wanted it to seem like the car was on fire. Thanks for good luck!

  • Nice job building the car, I liked hearing about why you added different parts to the car, plus that’s a pretty cool mascot!
