Geckosaurus

Liam L., Abby S., Payton O., Caroline G., 5th grade, Cape View Elementary

We made a mock up of a leopard gecko place to live. We used what we had in the classroom to make this because we dont have wood and plexiglass. A box, some screen and push pins, paint, plastic lids for food and water, plastic wrap for two sides and the plastic top and cloud bottom from another box that a drone came in. We thought it was a good box to use, so our teacher let us use it. We used hot glue and some clear tape to hold it together after we painted it and added sides. We found sticks and a shell while we were cleaning up the school campus – so we used them. We also used a plush lizard because we don’t have a real one. Liam wants one, so he is taking the mock up home to show his family why he should have one.
