Green Building and Green Design
Our Knights Hotel is made out of recycled furniture that we rescued from the curb. This furniture was sanded, painted, and designed to meet the needs of our furry friends.
The doors of our hotel are made from the wood of recycled pallets and patio screening.
Renewable Energy
Our Knights Hotel is powered by solar energy. The lights and security camera are powered by solar panels.
Solar panels transform the suns solar energy into usable energy. The energy travels through the wires to power the safety lights and security cameras.

Thank you to our teacher Ms. Lucas. She helped us by collecting materials and making sure we safely built our Knights Hotel. We also learned how to use a power drill safely.

Critter Test!
This is River, she tested our Knights Hotel. River went in the house easily. She could comfortable lay down, and enjoyed the nice breeze that the screen door offerend.

I think you have a great idea and did a wonderful job. I liked that you repurposed materials to make it and that you tested it out on live animals. I think the dog hotel needs to be a little taller so River could stand and move around more.
