Ocean Breeze elementary school is the school we represent. Our speedy car runs off of a 40-10 gear ratio. It’s dimensions are 3.5 in, 10.5 in, 5 in.` We are in grade 6, we are Thiago M. and Hanson B. It took BOTH of us 5 days to make the car. The wheel size is 1.5 in. The balsa cost $5, the motor cost $10, the wheels cost $2, and the panel cost $15. They were all new.

Journal

First, we made the base and attached the panel and motor. Second, we did all the wiring and attached the wheels and axel holder. Third, we both worked on the, wire management and string guide on the bottom of the car. Lastly we made this document.

  • I really like the style of this car. It LOOKS like a racecar. I am curious why you chose such a bulky steering device underneath the car.
